Yes. Gold filled jewelry has a thick layer of real 14K gold bonded to a base metal core, very different from gold plated jewelry, whose thin coating can wear off quickly. It is durable, resists tarnish and keeps its look through years of everyday wear.

Yes: up to 5 on a bracelet, anklet or hand chain and up to 3 on a necklace, from the twelve birthstones, four groups of charms (letters, shapes, ocean and gems) and our pink seashells, hand picked on the Gulf Coast, in three sizes, one to a chain (a hand chain takes birthstones, the pearl and the opal). Each is $25, in any metal.

Up to three chains of one kind, made to be worn together: three bracelets, three anklets or three layered necklaces, each designed on its own. A hand chain is worn one at a time.

By its metal and its length: $65 for every 6 inches in 14K gold filled or mixed metal, $55 for every 6 inches in sterling silver, to the exact length. The style and width do not change the price. Birthstones, charms and seashells are $25 each; one set into the chain takes the place of a little of it, and you are not charged for chain that isn't there.

Bracelets from 5 to 11 inches and anklets from 8 to 13 inches, to a tenth of an inch; necklaces from 14 to 32 inches, to the inch. A hand chain is made to three measurements: around your wrist, around your finger, and from wrist to finger.

Yes. Our 14K gold filled and sterling silver chains are made for everyday wear, water included. After chlorine or salt water, rinse your chain and pat it dry.

14K gold filled is very resistant to tarnish. Sterling silver can darken a little with wear over time, which is natural, and a jewelry polishing cloth brings back its shine. Keep perfume and harsh chemicals off your chain.

14K gold filled is generally safe for sensitive skin: its thick layer of gold keeps the base metal away from your skin. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver and generally well tolerated too. If you have a severe metal allergy, ask your doctor first.
